We offer a variety of visit experiences as part of the daily campus tours. Sign up is available through the Jayhawk Day or Transfer Friday registration form.

  • College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Information Session: Most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11:30 a.m. This is a 45-minute group presentation in Strong Hall.
  • Pre-Health Information Session: Most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 12:30 p.m. This is a 45-minute group presentation in Strong Hall including the Pre-Health, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Dental, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Optometry, and Pre-Veterinary Medicine academic pathways.
  • Individual Appointments: Most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 1:30-4 p.m. Appointments are best suited for students that have many questions and/or would like to discuss specific programs.
  • Academic Department Tours: Some academic departments within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences offer group presentations and tours of their facilities. When registering for a campus tour, please select your preferred academic interest. If the department offers a separate visit option, it will be listed in the registration form.

We offer in-person presentations as part of daily campus tours most Mondays at 11:15 a.m. Registration for this experience is available through the Jayhawk Day or Transfer Friday registration form. Our 30-minute presentation shares what it’s like to be an exploratory/undecided student at KU. The presentation is given by advisors who work specifically with exploratory/undecided students in Jayhawk Academic Advising.

University Honors Program

In-person visits to the University Honors Program are offered as part of daily campus tours most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11:15 a.m. Our 45-minute sessions include a presentation about the program’s history, benefits and admissions process led by Honors staff and current KU students, and a tour of the Nunemaker Center. Sign up is available through the Jayhawk Day or Transfer Friday registration form.

Virtual information sessions via Zoom are also available one Wednesday a month at 4 p.m.

Our 60-minute group sessions include a School of Business presentation, a tour of our building Capitol Federal Hall, and the opportunity to meet with our admissions staff and current students.

Visits include a student-led tour of our facilities and the opportunity to meet with our staff. The 12 p.m. experience also includes a KU School of Engineering faculty member visit. Registration for these visits is available through the Jayhawk Day or Transfer Friday registration form.

University of Kansas School of Nursing

In-person visits are offered at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS and the KU School of Medicine-Salina in Salina, KS one Friday each month. During your visit, you’ll meet with our admissions staff and tour the facilities, including student spaces, simulation labs, and classrooms. At the KU Lawrence campus, the School of Nursing hosts informational presentations on select days as part of daily campus visits. Registration for these presentations is available through the Jayhawk Day or Transfer Friday registration form. Fall 2026 presentation dates include September 11, 18, 28; October 2, 23, 30; November 6, 13, 20; and December 4.

Virtual information sessions are also available throughout the year.
