High School GPA Conversion

The University of Kansas uses a students GPA on a 4.0 scale to make an admission decision. If your school does not use a 4.0 scale, please use the conversion table below to convert your GPA to a 4.0 scale from the scale your school uses. Please report your converted GPA on the 4.0 scale on your application.

To convert your GPA to a 4.0 scale, multiply your original GPA by the multiplier indicated in the tab.

([Your GPA]) X 4.0 / ([Your GPA Scale])

So, if your GPA is 4.1 on a 4.5 scale, the formula looks like this:

(4.1) X (4.0 / 4.5) = 3.64
