Who should attend? Admitted high school seniors

Admitted Senior Jayhawk Days are for any admitted high school senior who is making a final decision about attending KU.

We also have customized options available for:

What to Expect


Our admitted senior tours start at the KU Visitor Center and include:

  • A "What's next?" discussion with an admissions representative
  • A one-hour walking tour of campus led by a student ambassador
  • $10.00 lunch card given to the student so they can experience our award winning KU cuisine

Sample 11:00 a.m. schedule:

11:00 a.m.: Admitted Senior Presentation

12:00 p.m.: Campus Tour

1:30 p.m.: Optional Housing Tour

Sample 1:00 p.m. schedule:

1:00 p.m.: Admitted Senior Presentation

2:00 p.m.: Campus Tour

3:30 p.m.: Optional Housing Tour

In addition to the above, if you would like to do more while you are on-campus, when registering, simply click ‘yes’ when asked if you would like to meet with an academic department and we will happily schedule that into your day as well (registration must occur at least 10 days in advance of visit; please allow at least an additional hour for this meeting and any other appointments requested).

Residence hall tours

(Available when KU Classes are in session)

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. join a student ambassador for a tour of KU’s Residence Halls.  An additional opportunity for a tour is available on Mondays and Fridays at 2:30 p.m.

Scholarship hall tours

(Fall/Spring Semesters only)

Available Monday – Friday anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. when KU classes are in session. All Scholarship Hall tours start at the Crawford Community Center.


Available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Tours depart from LEEP 2, Room 1415 at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.

Financial aid & scholarship appointments

Financial Aid & Scholarship counselors are available most weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and are happy to answer your general questions while you are on-campus. If you would like a more personalized meeting, email and we will happily add that to your campus visit schedule (appointments are only available when KU classes are in session and must be made at least 10 days in advance of your visit to campus).
