Transfer Codes

When a course is transferrable, but KU does not offer a direct equivalent, a transfer code using letters, is assigned.  Coded courses count towards overall degree hours and can fulfill KU Core, major, or minor hours.  The following transfer codes correspond to KU Core goals:

The KU Core is a university-wide curriculum meant to help undergraduates develop a broad background of knowledge. The KU Core contains six educational goals, with each goal containing at least one "learning outcome."
