The Raise.me Scholarship is a program that encourages high school students to begin thinking about and working toward college as early as their ninth grade year.
Raise.me is not an additional scholarship. It is available to new freshmen or transfer students who meet the criteria below.
You must create a Raise.Me profile, apply to KU by the deadline, and meet the KU criteria to receive a scholarship.
Freshmen Deadline: Dec. 1
Transfer Deadline: May 1

How to apply
Create an online account through Raise.me, "follow" the University of Kansas, and add individual achievements to your account before Dec. 1 of your senior year. Next, submit your KU admission application by Dec. 1. Transfer students can also create a Raise.me profile and must submit their application to KU by May 1. Accepted students who meet all the criteria will receive the Raise.me Scholarship.
How much does it cost?
Creating a portfolio through Raise.me is free for high school students and counselors.
When should I start?
Now! If you're a 9th-12th grade student, you can participate at any time. You can retroactively add achievements earned in previous years, starting with your freshman year. High school seniors must submit an admission application to KU and have completed their student profile on Raise.me by Dec. 1.Transfer students can participate at any time and must be submit an application to KU by May 1.
To be eligible for renewal, you must complete 27 KU hours and earn a cumulative 3.25 KU GPA.
