for incoming freshmen from Kansas with GEDs

To enter as a second-semester sophomore, a student must

• have a cumulative 2.75 or higher GPA for all education programs except athletic training and health and physical education, which require a cumulative 2.5 or higher GPA, AND
• complete admission (core) course requirements with a 2.75 or higher GPA.

For teacher education programs, a student must

• pass the reading, writing, and math sections of the Pre-Professional Skills test (PPST).

Consult a pre-education adviser immediately upon entering KU.
