Students have started more than 600 clubs and organizations on campus, from the
serious to the silly.

KU Ugly Sweater and Kite Flying Society, we're looking at you.

The Student Union Activities Board is a student-run organization that developed events for the KU community for over 70 years. Movie series, carnivals, concerts, and comedy nights are chosen, planned, created, and promoted by eight student committees.

The Student Involvement and Leadership Center is the central hub for all student groups. The center houses plus greek life; the Emily Taylor Women’s Resource Center; leadership programs; nontraditional student services; and gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered student services.

Intramural teams range from air hockey to wallyball, and kickball to basketball.

Competition is organized according to the type of activity: team sports, singles/doubles sports, and team tournaments.
