    Admission Requirements

Apply as a transfer if you enrolled at any post-secondary institution after earning a high school diploma or GED. A post-secondary institution is a college, university, community or junior college, or vocational-technical school. If you have fewer than 24 transferable hours, you must also submit final high school transcripts and ACT/SAT test scores.

  • Apply for KU admission and scholarships.

    Feb. 1

Complete your application for admission by Feb. 1 to be eligible for KU transfer scholarships. A complete application includes:

    • Admission application and $30 fee (unless you qualify for a fee grant)
    • Official transcripts from each college you've attended (A fax is fine for admission purposes, but we must have official transcripts on-file before we can transfer any of your credits.)

If you have fewer than 24 transferable semester credit hours,
    we'll also need:

    • Final, official high school transcript (or GED scores) with your graduation date mailed from your high school or the state GED agency.
    • ACT or SAT scores
