Who should apply as a readmit?

Apply as a readmit if you attended KU, earned grades of A, B, C, D, F, WG, or I and have been out one semester or more. There is no fee for the readmit application.

Apply as a transfer student if you have attended KU only as a non-degree seeking student and now want to apply as a degree-seeking student.

Apply as a freshman if you have attended KU only as a nondegree-seeking student while still in high school and now want to apply as a degree-seeking student.

Being readmitted

Filing of a readmit application is expected for students wishing to return to the University of Kansas. Students must account for their activity since leaving the university and provide official transcripts of any schools they have attended. Applicants may be readmitted if they left KU in good academic standing and are in good standing with all other institutions they have attended since their enrollment at KU. Applicants to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who were academically dismissed will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the College. Readmission is not guaranteed to students who left or were dismissed from KU. Learn how to apply in the upper-right boxes.
